Questions people ask
Can you fix it remotely?
Very often, yes. A lot of smart home problems are configuration or network issues we can diagnose and fix over a secure remote session, same week, without the cost of a call-out. If it genuinely needs hands on site, we'll tell you up front.
My installer set it up and disappeared. Can you take it over?
That's one of the most common things we do. We take over the system, document it properly, fix what's broken and hand it back so you're in control, not stuck waiting on someone who won't call back.
Do you work with Home Assistant?
Yes, heavily. We rescue, rebuild and maintain Home Assistant setups, and can migrate a fragile one onto something stable. We also work with Google Home, Alexa, Apple Home and Matter devices.
Why do my devices keep going offline?
Usually it's not the device, it's the network, hub placement, or wireless interference. We find the actual cause so the fix lasts, instead of re-pairing things every week.
Do you do electrical work?
We handle all the configuration, network and wireless side, which covers most smart home problems and needs no electrical licence. If a job needs work on mains wiring, we bring in a licensed electrician for that part.
What does it cost?
It depends on the problem, so we don't guess. Tell us what's going on and we'll come back with how we'd approach it and what it'll cost. Many fixes are a single remote session.
